About the Role :
- Data Quality & Integrity :
Assess and monitor the quality of data sources used within the business unit.
Develop, implement, and enforce data quality standards, policies, and procedures.Conduct regular data audits to identify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, or gaps and recommend corrective actions.Data Analysis & Reporting :Analyze business data to generate insights, identify trends, and support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and ensure that data is collected, processed, and presented in a meaningful way.Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate key findings to stakeholders.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Operations, and Business Units to ensure data requirements are understood and met.
Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to align data governance initiatives with business objectives.Support and train business users on data quality best practices and the use of data tools and reports.Data Governance & Compliance :Participate in the development and implementation of data governance policies and frameworks.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and organizational data standards.Maintain documentation of data sources, data flows, and data quality processes.Continuous Improvement & Innovation :Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data quality, streamline data processes, and improve reporting capabilities.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data management, analytics, and governance.Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Data Management, or Business3 years of experience in data analysis, data quality management, data profiling, auditing, and / or compliancePreferred Qualifications :
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Experience with data management and governance practices, including data profiling, auditing, and compliance.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and business stakeholders.Familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts is a plus.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Strong understanding of data quality principles, business analysis, and data governance.Ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to data privacy and protection (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).RSRCAR
