We are seeking a self-directed and results driven Inside Sales Engineer to join our Syracuse, NY office. You will assist the Commercial Strategic Accounts Sales organization with rapid and accurate responses involving pre-sale and post-sale support. You will also provide technical support to Strategic Account customers, engineers, and mechanical contractors!

Key job responsibilities
- Review plans and specifications to develop HVAC systems solutions
- Provide HVAC equipment selections, both new and replacements
- Run energy modelling simulations to guide strategic account customers to meet their sustainability goals
- Provide technical support for the sales of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their respective consulting engineers
- Seek new business opportunities by responding to RFQ's for new and / or existing customers
- Have an ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in fast-paced situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Support Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators with new and existing accounts and the introduction of new products
- Have a combination of excellent technical skills, be a self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction, and excellent interpersonal / influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers
