About this role :
The Manufacturing Engineer ,will be part of a team leading factory transformation projects to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and innovation. This role is responsible for troubleshooting equipment and tooling issues, responding urgently to plant emergencies, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer spearheads continuous improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, and cost-saving projects, ensuring alignment with the plant's long-term transformation strategy.
Role Responsibilities :
- Lead factory transformation projects focusing on operational efficiency, process optimization, and waste reduction.
- Act as the technical expert during plant issues and emergencies, troubleshooting unplanned events and ensuring rapid resolution through corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide hands-on support to maintenance, tool room, and production teams, troubleshooting and resolving equipment and tooling challenges.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement repairs, modifications, and enhancements to equipment and tooling, ensuring maximum uptime and productivity.
- Develop and optimize preventive maintenance procedures, ensuring sustained equipment reliability and performance.
- Lead Kaizen and process improvement initiatives that drive higher line output, cost reductions, and increased efficiency.
- Utilize maintenance and tooling management systems, purchase order systems, and other planning tools to streamline operations.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve quality, safety, ergonomics, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and Carrier's environmental, health, and safety policies, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
