About this Role
The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring efficient materials planning and Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes at our Charlotte factory. This role focuses on optimizing supply chain operations, improving planning strategies, and ensuring alignment between production capacity and customer demand. The planner collaborates cross-functionally with manufacturing, product development, sales, and marketing teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and enhance supply capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategies for materials planning and SIOP to optimize resources and meet customer expectations.
- Enhance standardized processes within materials planning to drive operational efficiency.
- Align demand forecasts by collaborating with product development, sales, and marketing teams.
- Plan production capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate monthly production volume planning using business forecasts, inventory data, customer orders, and capacity parameters.
- Identify and implement new technologies to enhance SIOP capabilities, sustainability, and reliability.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead process improvements to strengthen supply chain resilience and ensure consistent delivery performance.
