The Role
The Sales Operations Team Member coordinates fulfillment and logistics, ensuring a smooth workflow for sales to customers by Vieux Vins Group member companies in our markets and territories. They are accountable for communication between sales and fulfillment for their assigned clients, and they must work effectively with multiple businesses and technical teams across companies to ensure all customer needs are met and that orders are fulfilled on-time, in-full with high customer satisfaction.

Compensation: From $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year

The Role
The Sales Operations Team Member coordinates fulfillment and logistics, ensuring a smooth workflow for sales to customers by Vieux Vins Group member companies in our markets and territories. They are accountable for communication between sales and fulfillment for their assigned clients, and they must work effectively with multiple businesses and technical teams across companies to ensure all customer needs are met and that orders are fulfilled on-time, in-full with high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of sales orders for all Vieux Vins Group company channels.
- Communicate and coordinate logistics with carriers, third-party shippers, distributors, and customers for domestic and international shipments.
- Handle potential supply and demand imbalances from warehouses to customers, troubleshoot orders that are not flowing through the system, handle exceptions, communicate with sales reps and buyers, and manage all customer service tasks, including returns and credits.
- B.S., A.S. or A.A.S., or equivalent experience
- 2 years of Sales Operations experience within retail, consumer products, ecommerce, shipping carrier or 3PL
- Working knowledge of enterprise software and logistics warehouse management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work effectively with customers and co-workers, both as an individual and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve customer satisfaction
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Flexibility in work hours as needed to meet deadlines
- Wine industry experience is preferred
- Work is in both office and warehouse environments
- 5-day in-office position for the first 90 days, with a transition to 4 days in-office, 1 day remote after successful completion of the introductory period
