APEX Program is an innovative program that has been providing services to the students in the state of Georgia, supported by Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), and school systems. View Point Health APEX Team takes pride in making a difference and continues to expand services to more and more schools each year. Key to success has been having a great team of clinicians supported by caring and effective clerical team. Under general supervision, performs psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention. Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work or related field. AND Licensed or license eligible in the state of Georgia (LCSW, LPC, APC, LMSW, LMFT). Or License eligible in the state of Georgia for (APC, LMSW, LAMFT). Note: Must be able to write, read, speak, and comprehend English and Spanish.
