The Opportunity
We seek a Help Desk Technician / Administrator to support enterprise IT systems for CJTF-HOA under AFRICOM. This role blends technical troubleshooting with customer service in a mission-critical environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain computer systems (Windows, UNIX, OpenVMS).
- Provide Tier 0/1 user support and manage escalations.
- Configure and maintain enterprise applications and systems.
- Support Windows 10, AD environments, and Cisco routers/switches.
- Maintain documentation and perform system health checks.
- Support global AD infrastructures and security practices.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- 3 years in system/network administration
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Windows servers, Windows 7/10
- Active Directory and account provisioning
- Cisco network devices
- MCSA (Windows 10/Office 365) and Security (IAT Level II )
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL v3 certification
- PowerShell or scripting knowledge
- Familiarity with SCCM, VMware, SAN/NAS, backup solutions
- DoD experience
