Your Role and Impact
The Systems/Cloud Administrator applies technical expertise in the design, development, implementation, analysis and modification of regional/global systems. Conducts research for and facilitates implementation of a regional/global strategy. You will be part of a talented team of IT professionals that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. Qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis. Maintains Windows and Linux platform infrastructure including running services.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Management and troubleshooting of existing on-premises and cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance of content delivery and increased system uptimes across multiple geographies.
- Performs routine preventative maintenance, ensuring appropriate security standards are enabled.
- Responsible for system security and hardware: Microsoft Windows platforms, Linux, AWS, and Azure.
- Maintain Windows servers, including Active Directory, CIFS, NFS, DNS, DHCP servers.
- Works with the global IT team to evaluate vendor products considering company needs. Interacts with end-users to determine hardware and software needs. Works with a global IT team to achieve uniform software and hardware platforms.
- Design, implement, maintain, and test company’s DR plan.
- Administration, maintenance and monitoring of all mission critical Windows and Linux-based applications and databases. Coordinate with users and a global IT application/Oracle team to solve software application issues.
- Train, coach and develop Systems Admin/Help Desk technicians.
- Provide technical support to users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining IT documentation in a helpdesk environment.
- Develop solutions for issues that cannot be resolved by support staff.
- Performs bench testing of hardware and software. Involves contact with software and hardware vendors.
- Provides reports and recommendations to corporate management regarding possible enhancements to connectivity or availability.
Your Profile
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related major; or equivalent experience.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing, provisioning, managing, and supporting complex computing infrastructure.
- Must possess in-depth knowledge and proven abilities in Microsoft Windows, Linux, and PC hardware setup and troubleshooting, Microsoft 365, and all Windows platform services like FTP, IIS, WINS, DNS, etc. and Active Directory Administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience in VMware, NetApp, EMC configuration and troubleshooting.
- Certification in Windows, Azure, AWS highly desirable.
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux administration highly desirable.
- Solid Cloud experience, preferably in AWS.
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python).
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment or independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to bridge the knowledge gap between business and technical talk in meetings and proposals.
- Hours of work may vary dependent upon the global nature of the business. Must be available by phone and email after hours in case of emergency. Must be willing to split work week between company locations in Brea and Chino.
- Bilingual in Mandarin not necessary but a plus

Work Environment & Requirements
- Environment: In Office, this position requires driving to and from various Company locations. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required.
- Physical Effort: Periodic lifting/carrying of up to 40 pounds; visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform essential functions.
