Your Role and Impact
ViewSonic is looking for a Vertical Marketing Manager to drive engagement and connect ViewSonic solutions with education end-users, from teachers and schools to school districts and state departments. This role will develop marketing content and campaigns for the K-12 and high-ed markets across all product categories, with a focus on our classroom hardware and software solutions. The ideal candidate will understand how to connect with educators through integrated marketing campaigns and will have worked proactively with sales and various marketing teams to execute strategic marketing initiatives in providing technology solutions for a classroom setting.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans tailored to the education sector to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of our solutions.
- Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the tools, resources, and training needed to effectively communicate our value proposition to educational clients.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape of the ed-tech market; Analyze data to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
- Content Creation: In collaboration with product team and our writers, develop compelling educational content, including whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and blog posts, that resonate with our target audience.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive measurable results.
- Demand Generation: collaborate with sales team to develop strategies for lead generation and customer retention campaigns
- Campaign Briefing: Own campaign briefing process and provide thorough and actionable directions to creative team
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Event Planning and Management: Organize and oversee educational events, conferences, and webinars to showcase our products and foster relationships with key stakeholders
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management Information Systems or a technology-related field
- 5 years of experience managing and leading marketing programs and managing campaigns, ideally in ed-tech market
- Strong understanding of the education market, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM, marketing automation, and analytics software.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing landscape and go to market tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external teams
- Experience in creating customer driven messaging and working with cross-functional teams in order to ensure consistent implementation of positioning, messaging, and promotions
- Experience working with AI platforms and tools to improve efficiency
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed to accommodate traveling for marketing events, up to 25%
