JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for creating, updating and applying all HR policies and company guidelines and making sure they adhere to standards and laws initiated by authorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets management information needs.
· Writes directives advising department managers and site leaders of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities and employee benefits.
· Manages employee benefit programs
· Ensures that company policies comply with federal and state law, consulting legal counsel as required.
· Prepares and delivers training to all employees regarding HR policies and practices.
· Maintains level of continuing education sufficient to remain knowledgeable of current legislation and industry trends.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates primarily in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or another related field.
- Two or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification from HRCI or SHRM, preferred
- Bilingual, preferred
