Vighter Medical Group is looking for a skilled Detection Healthcare Professional to provide medical care to individuals detained by CBP. As a Detection Healthcare Professional, your responsibilities will include conducting basic screening assessments, providing medical care, and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic screening assessments on detainees
- Provide medical care, including emergency care and stabilizing patients until further medical attention is available
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Perform routine tasks, such as restocking supplies and maintaining equipment
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care as a licensed or certified EMT
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A US-BASED TRAINING PROGRAM LEADING TO LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION AS AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)
- A current, active, valid, unencumbered license/registration/certification to practice healthcare in the state where you will work
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) CERTIFICATION FROM THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION (AHA), AMERICAN RED CROSS (ARC), OR OTHER APPROVED PROVIDER
