Summary :
Vighter is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Clerk who will be responsible for managing the administrative tasks involved in the movement of goods within a company, including tracking inventory, processing orders, generating shipping documents, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate records, essentially acting as the clerical support for the shipping department, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
Education, Licensure / Certification & Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
Coordinate logistics activities for local and remote sites, including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
Assist in the coordination of transportation services, including arranging shipments, scheduling deliveries, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for logistics activities, including shipping documents, inventory records and supply chain data.
Monitor inventory levels and stock levels at remote sites with appropriate personnel, coordinating with suppliers and vendors to replenish stock as needed.
Prepare reports and analysis of logistics data and performance metrics, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Assist in the development and implementation of logistics plans and strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs for remote operations.
Provide administrative support to onsite logistics personnel, including scheduling appointments, processing paperwork and responding to inquiries.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements for logistics operations in remote sites.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve logistics issues, address concerns and improve logistics processes.

Must have exceptional customer service skills.
Employees shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the job requirements, including ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.

Must be willing to work day, night, weekdays, weekends, holidays, and overtime if necessary.
Must be able to perform duties in an indoor and / or outdoor environment.
Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation. Candidate must not have been convicted of, pled guilty to, pled nolo contender to, or received probation prior to judgment for any crime other than a minor traffic violation, the record of which has not been expunged.
Must undergo Urine Drug Screening (UDS).
