As a Physician Assistant at Vighter, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals detained by CBP. This includes:
- Conducting thorough medical evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Collaborating with physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Providing emergency and urgent care as needed
- Maintaining accurate medical records and reporting any changes or updates
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care
- Current licensure/certification as a Physician Assistant
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records
