Vighter LLC is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Physician Assistant, you will provide healthcare services to individuals detained by Customs and Border Protection (CBP). You will work under the medical direction of the National Medical Director and Physician Supervisors, collaborating with CBP's Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic screening assessments and provide healthcare services to detainees of all ages.
- Work administratively under the Regional Program Manager and Regional Deputy Program Manager.
- Perform healthcare services under the medical direction of the National Medical Director and Physician Supervisors.
- Maintain compliance with DHS and CBP policies and any overriding accreditation standards that may apply.
Requirements:
- A successful completion of a US-based accredited Physician Assistant training program leading to licensure/certification as a Physician Assistant (PA).
- A current, active, valid, unencumbered license/registration/certification to practice healthcare in the state in which the candidate will work.
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is preferred.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for health care providers, AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, American Red Cross CPB/BLS for the professional rescuer, American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) CPR and AED for healthcare providers and professional responders.
