Entry Level Alarm Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking an entry level alarm technician. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in technology and low voltage, specifically alarm systems, camera systems, internet access points, and sound systems. The Entry Level Installer will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn the skills necessary for successful installations while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Assist in the installation of low voltage systems including cabling and surveillance equipment.
• Repair alarm and camera systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation tasks.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and technical skills.
• Collaborate with senior installers to troubleshoot issues and ensure proper functioning of installed systems.
• Document installation processes and report any discrepancies or challenges encountered during installations.

Experience & Requirements

• Must have a driver's license and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with low voltage systems, cabling, and surveillance technologies is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity and a high level of comfort with technology and working with phone apps.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial; experience with power tools and hand tools is a plus.
• Understanding of computer networking concepts will be advantageous for this role.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential for success in this position.
• Must be capable of handling the physical workload, including climbing through attics from time to time.
