Position Summary
The Vigor Works Financial Analyst reports functionally to the Vigor Industries Finance Director and reports dotted line to the Vigor Works Vice President, ensuring the fiduciary responsibility is protected at all times. In this role, the Financial Analyst ensures the Vigor Industries over-arching financial objectives are understood. This requires the regular reporting of Orders, Sales, EBITA, Cash and Backlog against targets. Additionally, the Financial Analysis is charged with the responsibility of tracking, in coordination with Supply Chain, receivables and payments on a weekly basis.
SALARY RANGE: $77,972 – 97,465

Work Environment
This position requires that the successful candidate work onsite 5 days per week. The person may be required to be in production areas at times. There may be local travel up to 10% of the time and out-of-town travel (including air travel) up to 5% of the time with notice.
CITIZENSHIP: Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.

Essential Functions And Major Responsibilities

- Works with appropriate leadership to develop Orders, Sales, EBITA, Cash and backlog quarterly and annual target
- Tracks and reports on program performance against financial targets
- Works with the Director of Finance to develop Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) targets for VIGOR Works as well as CAGR estimated performance against those targets
- Works closely with the VIGOR Works team to support the development of Control Accounts, Budget Allocations, Budget Allocation Revisions, Management Reserve tracking and Earned Value Reporting
- Provides support to the development of ROMs and responses to Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and RFP responses (cost volumes)
- Ensures that VIGOR Works financial performance is reported accurately and in compliance with DoD Cost Accounting Administration (DCAA), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) requirements
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
- Experience with FAR, DFARS and GAAP requirements
- Experience developing financial reports
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Requires a minimum of a Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration or related degree from an accredited university or college and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the finance field.
