HOURLY RATE : $31.46
POSITION SUMMARY :
Fabricate buildings, beams, girders, boats, etc., out of Aluminum materials according to contract specifications and blueprints with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Read and interpret all types of drawings and sketches; lay out and assemble with speed and accuracy without the aid of supervision.
- Identify material types, cut to length, lay-out and fit-up welded or bolted detail, show weld sizes, piece marks, direction marks, etc.
- Develop, bend, roll, build up, and assemble various types of plated assemblies and structures.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 2 years' welding / fabrication experience or apprentice program.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :
May be exposed to excessive noise, welding gases and fumes, and varying weather conditions. Proper protective equipment will be provided as necessary.
CITIZENSHIP : Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.
