A West Des Moines farm is seeking seasonal Farmhands for the summer from May through August. This position is perfect for those who like working outdoors and are seeking summer time work.


$15.00 an hour Overtime (Monday-Saturday 8-5 PM)


Duties:

  • Paint fence posts
  • spray weeds along fence line
  • mow with commercial mower
  • pick up branches
  • general yard maintenance
  • other miscellaneous tasks around farm as needed.

  • Must have a driver’s license to drive gator on road.
  • Must have reliable transportation to job site.
  • Must be able to adapt to various outdoor environments.
  • Willingness to learn and operate various landscaping equipment.
  • Previous gardening, farming, or handyman experience a plus.
