SUMMARY OF DUTIES

This position is responsible for performing basic, routine, and preventive maintenance to facility buildings, grounds, and equipment. They will also help ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitors the plant, grounds, and related equipment to determine maintenance needs.
• Perform interior and exterior maintenance tasks including loading docks, garage doors, HVAC systems, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
• Plow parking lots, shovel sidewalks and emergency exits, and salt sidewalks as needed.
• Maintains the exterior of the premises by mowing and picking up garbage or miscellaneous items from the yard.
• Inspects and records fire extinguishers and emergency lighting every month.
• Collaborates with contractors for repairs when necessary.
• Travels to branches outside St Cloud in the states of MN and WI to assist with maintenance

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
• Requires a valid class D driver's license.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Requires ability to understand and follow directions orally and in writing.
• Requires mechanical aptitude with tools and equipment.
• Requires ability to communicate with individuals throughout the building and outside vendors.
• Must be well-organized and have the ability to work independently.
• Requires forklift certification (company provided).
