Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
What: Event Security with security license ,Level 2 and Level 3- Temporary Position
Compensation: Level 2 $20 and Level 3 $25 per hour
Event days: April 22 to April 26, 2025.
Working hours 4pm to 12 am and 5pm to 12am
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to ensure the safety of the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Manage conflicts effectively using conflict resolution techniques to maintain peace and order.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security measures and access control.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and effectively.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security technology.
- A valid security officer license or certification is preferred; military experience is a plus.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
