Viking Fence, a Texas tradition since 1972, is growing, and we want you to be a part of our success! We're hiring a full-time, non-exempt Fabricator/Welder reporting to the Division Manager, Custom Iron & Structural Steel at our Austin, TX headquarters. This role offers fantastic growth potential in our expanding Custom Iron & Structural Steel department.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install custom metal parts and assemblies.
- Follow blueprints to ensure precise specifications.
- Calculate and use charts to convert decimals to fractions.
- Produce strong, clean welds.
- Test output for strength and weld tolerance.
- Complete assigned duties.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Exposure to all types of weather.
- Regular lifting of objects (up to 50 lbs.).
- Safely walking and standing for extended periods.
- Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as necessary.
