Viking Gymnastics & Dance seeks a compassionate and dependable individual to lead our intermediate and advanced recreational gymnastics program. The Gold Recreational Gymnastics Leader will play a pivotal role in our gym, working full-time with evening and weekend shifts. This position includes both administrative and in the gym responsibilities, with at least one consistent weekly coaching shift.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises, hires, trains, and provides work direction to intermediate and advanced recreational gymnastics staff
• Identify program needs and manage staff schedules
• Maintain curriculum and create lesson plans
• Recognize staff training needs and facilitate continuing education opportunities
• Ensure positive family experiences and uphold company values
• Lead and attend recreational gymnastics meetings
• Organize intermediate and advanced skills clinics
• Coordinate House Competitions

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience leading a gymnastics gym or large gymnastics program
• Proficiency in gymnastics skill progressions, safety, and current best practices
• Previous competitive gymnastics coaching experience
• Professional demeanor with a compassionate approach
• Strong organizational skills
• Passion for working with children to foster confidence and growth

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Gymnastics: 10 years (Preferred)
• Program management: 3 years (Preferred)
• Sports coaching: 5 years (Required)
