Upper-Level Girls Gymnastics Team Coach

Viking Gymnastics & Dance seeks a dedicated upper-level Girls Competitive Team Coach to join our dynamic team. This position would require evening and weekend hours.

Description of Duties:

• Coach competitive USAG team gymnasts with a focus on skill development and performance enhancement
• Cultivate positive relationships with gymnasts, fellow coaches, and parents
• Attend local, regional, and national meets as required
• Ensure program standards and safety protocols are consistently upheld
• Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development training
• Coach Recreational and/or Tot classes

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Competitive coaching experience, preferably with USAG Levels 8
• Professional demeanor with kindness and compassion
• Team player mentality, thriving in a collaborative environment
• Punctual and reliable with a high energy level
• Enthusiasm for working with children to nurture confidence and growth
• Familiarity with current best practices in gymnastics coaching
• Open to continuous learning and receptive to feedback

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Sports coaching: 5 years (Preferred)
• Gymnastics: 5 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:
