Field Service Technician

Viking Industrial Systems is a small and locally owned industrial equipment company. We sell, service and repair Pressure Washers, Air Compressors and Waste Oil Furnaces in Southern Idaho and Eastern Oregon. We’ve been in business since 1990.

We are looking to hire an Field Service Technician. Were you the kid that always took things apart to see how they work? You are who we are looking for!

Our Field Service Technicians perform a variety of duties within the shop, in the field, and at our customer's facilities. Work includes installing, repairing, and replacing pressure washers, waste oil heaters, and air compressors. Specific industrial machinery knowledge is not required, you will learn on the job from our Industry Leading Experienced Technicians and through formal training from our Equipment Manufacturers. If you like machinery, this is an exciting opportunity to build a new career while learning from the best in the industry.

To qualify, you should have some professional mechanical experience and enjoy troubleshooting mechanical problems. Experience working with any of the following is a plus, but not required: Pressure Washers, Air Compressors, HVAC, Automobiles, Diesel or Small Engines.

Pay is commensurate with experience. Bring Honesty, Integrity, a solid Work Ethic and a mechanical background… we’ll teach you the rest.

Pay starts at $18hr to $22hr depending on experience. Monthly performance bonuses are available and are often an additional 10-20%. Paid holidays. Paid Vacation after the first year. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime is available but very rarely required. Opening available due to increased demand (we’re growing).
