Job Responsibilities:
- Installing, inspecting, repairing, troubleshooting, load testing, refurbishing and general servicing of lifesaving equipment. (Lifeboats, rescue boats, davits, etc.)
- Maintaining accurate records of time spent performing services and of expenses incurred on the job.
- Completion of necessary electronic paperwork relating to the installation, inspection, and repair and/or servicing of life saving equipment.
- Providing necessary training to lower level employees as needed
- Comply with OSHA and related regulations for the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) and Atlantic Canada
- Comply with Viking's QHSE standards and guidelines.
Job Requirements:
- Applicant must have one year lifeboat inspection experience (or two years related inspection experience on similar LSA systems)
- Must be able to work and travel freely to USA (USA work visa preferred)
- Demonstration of solid hands on employment history that includes formal training and solid work experience (minimum 2 years) in an appropriate discipline (marine engines, marine services, hydraulics, marine safety, etc.)
- Must have working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Job Conditions:
- Worldwide travel, sometimes for prolonged periods, is a basic requirement of this position and will necessitate the flexibility to work extended hours, as well as traveling with minimal notice.
- The nature of the work can be physically demanding at times. Employees shall be required to work at height as well as in confined spaces.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
