Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and support the design, installation, and commissioning of packaging equipment. This role involves programming PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems, as well as working with an Electrical Designer to develop BOMs and schematics.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and developing control systems for packaging equipment.
- Programming PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems.
- Working with Electrical Designers to develop BOMs and schematics.
This role requires strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to solve problems in control systems, hardware, or software.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree equivalent to a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 10 years of PLC/HMI/servo motion programming experience, preferably with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
- Proficiency with programming languages used in PLCs, such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
