Job Description
This Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee equipment assembly, troubleshoot issues, mentor team members, and collaborate across departments to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Determining design requirements to meet project needs.
- Gathering quotes from vendors and releasing parts.
- Developing and managing PLC and motion programs for machines.
- Developing and managing HMI programs for projects.
This role requires strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to solve problems in control systems, hardware, or software.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree equivalent to a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 10 years of PLC/HMI/servo motion programming experience, preferably with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
- Proficiency with programming languages used in PLCs, such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
- Proficiency in understanding electrical circuits, wiring, and components such as sensors, actuators, and relays.
