Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our distribution center. You will play a critical part in ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in order fulfillment, possess strong math skills, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain organized stock in the warehouse, ensuring all items are stored correctly.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Prepare shipping documents and labels for outgoing packages.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Load and unload trucks safely.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role or similar position is preferred.
• Familiarity with order picking, packing, and e-commerce operations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
• Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

• Saint Paul, MN 55120: Relocate before starting work (Required)
