The National Service Trainer will play a critical role in developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for our nationwide network of appliance service technicians. This role will be responsible for ensuring technicians have the expertise to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of major appliances, from ovens and refrigerators to outdoor grills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, informative training programs on Viking/Lynx products, repair techniques, and troubleshooting procedures
- Develop and utilize a variety of training methods, including classroom instruction, webinars, and online learning modules
- Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and video resources
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to trainees to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Conduct skills assessments and evaluations to measure technician knowledge and competency
- Collaborate with technical experts and product engineers to ensure training programs are accurate and reflect the latest product information
- Travel throughout the country to deliver training sessions at regional service centers
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in appliance repair or a related technical field
- Proven experience developing and delivering effective technical training programs
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise language for diverse learners
- Experience using technology to train – webinars, online testing, etc
- Experience working with a national service network or large organization is a plus
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States (30-50%)
