What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Representative position at Viking Range, LLC?
The Technical Support Representative will assist field servicers in the repair of Viking/Lynx major indoor/outdoor appliances.
Responsibility
- Provide technical support to field service technicians by answering technical questions and providing technical support via phone and email
- Working with consumers via phone and email
- Document technical information requests by entering information into service database
- Working closely with customer support departments, Sales, RSM, & engineering department
- Maintain both Technical Support and Parts Breakdown email inboxes daily
- Code labor claims daily assigned to territories/region
Skills/Experience Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in gas, electrical, and/or refrigeration appliance repair, or comparable experience in technical field. Viking/AGA/Lynx experience preferred
- Ability to problem-solve technical issues
- Ability to read wire diagrams/schematics
- Previous technical support or technical training experience preferred
- Education and/or training in a technical field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Looking for a team player with initiative and a desire to learn and grow with the company
