Chicken Ranch Laborer

- To assist in maintaining the day-to-day operations of 50% of the ranch and its fryers. Including Feeding, Mortality removal, equipment adjustments, sanitation, etc.
- Assist with the grow-out program on the ranch - 20% setup, brooding, temperatures, ventilation, mortality, vaccination, and medication meet the highest level of quality and productivity.
- Assist with coordinating feed deliveries - 20% maintaining accurate feed and fuel inventories, and ensuring proper growing methods.
- Aid in maintaining facilities and equipment for optimal usage and good appearance.
- Learn about and assist with maintaining sanitation - 10% of conditions and disease protection procedures.
- Maintain a high awareness of industrial safety, animal welfare, and bio-security and report any problems directly to the Ranch Manager or Field Supervisor.
Requirements :
1. Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
2. Must have good mathematical and organizational skills.
3. Must be able to lift and move 25 pounds.
4. Preferably, will have a mechanical aptitude.
5. Must have good verbal and written communication skills (Basic English).
6. Must possess or be able to learn supervisory and leadership skills.
7. Must be able to work as scheduled / needed including overtime, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
8. Must be able to follow company standards, guidelines, and policies.
9. Must have the ability to work at other ranches / complexes as needed.
10. Must have the ability to work in various ranch complexes as needed.
Compensation : $17.50 per hour
