What are the responsibilities and job description for the Railroad Track Foreman position at Viking Track Services, LLC?
The Track Foreman is responsible for the direction of crews involved in the construction, maintenance, and repair of railroad track.
Direct and manage daily activities of a crew related to duties involved in the construction, maintenance, inspection, and repair of railroad tracks. Enforce compliance with safety procedures. Establish line of communication with customers to meet safety protocols & maintain client satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of daily tasks, crew time, job costs, and production reports. Fulfill duties (operator, laborer, etc.) as needed to keep jobs moving forward. Perform other duties as directed.
This position will require bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, crouching, stooping, and lifting. Will be required to safely mount and dismount machinery, reaching with arms and legs.
1-3 months construction, or equipment operating experience.
Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
Lodging and Per Diem provided by Viking Track Services.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
