Meat Wrapper

Viking Village Foods has an opening for a full-time Meat Wrapper.

Summary

As a Meat Wrapper, you will be essential in ensuring high-quality meat products are prepared and presented for customers. This role requires core skills in food handling, packaging, and customer service, as well as basic math for accurate pricing. No prior experience is necessary, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the food industry. Duties include but not limited to:

Maintain high level of customer service while wrapping, packaging, weighing, pricing, and stocking of meat department products.

Qualifications:

• Must be reliable
• Ability to proficiently read and write.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Ability to provide great customer service.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25lbs., and occasionally lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to work in an environment that includes continuous duties in refrigerated cutting rooms and storage areas
• Able to operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner. (Must be 18 years of age older)
• Must also be able to follow & complete sanitation requirements.
