Job Description
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Villa at Rose City, you will be responsible for providing licensed care to assigned residents, ensuring their safety and well-being. Your duties will include:
- Providing nursing care as ordered by physicians and in accordance with facility, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, including the nurse station, medication cart, medication room, resident care rooms, and treatment areas.
- Taking and recording residents' vital signs, administering catheter care, IV therapy, and respiratory care as ordered within your license limitations.
- Charting nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner, reflecting the care provided and the resident's response to that care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State.
- CPR training and BLS certification from recognized organizations like the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction.
- The ability to multi-task, remain calm under stress, and prioritize work effectively.
- Understanding and adherence to infection control standards, policies, and procedures.
