Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Villa At Rose City is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to our residents.
Nursing Responsibilities:
- Provide licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
- Conduct required resident assessments/observations and interventions, reviewing care plans to ensure appropriate care.
- Take and record residents' blood pressure and vital signs, administer catheter care, IV therapy, and respiratory care as needed.
- Document nurse's notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided and the resident's response.
- Ensure the resident's environment is safe and free from hazards, addressing potential risks promptly.
- Monitor and direct non-licensed ancillary services to meet professional standards and maintain the highest level of resident care.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Understanding and adherence to infection control standards, policies and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and occasional overnight travel.
- Positive relationships with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and facility staff.
Qualifications:
- Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
- Possession of a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
