Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The RN will provide direct patient care, supervise CNAs and LPNs, coordinate treatment plans, and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents in accordance with professional nursing standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established plans of care.
- Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to physicians and family members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Supervise and guide nursing assistants and LPNs.
- Document nursing care in electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and timely.
- Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal nursing regulations.
- Promote a safe and clean working environment.
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
- Respond promptly to resident emergencies and follow proper protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree).
- CPR/BLS Certification required.
- Minimum [2 years] of nursing experience preferred; LTC or geriatric care experience is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for working with elderly populations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems.
