DON (Director of Nursing)

At Villa Georgetown, we are dedicated to providing Excellence in Care to our residents, and we are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team.

As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing department and ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals to create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and mentor the nursing team to deliver exceptional care to residents.
• Develop and implement nursing care policies and procedures in line with industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and assess patient care plans to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and excellence within the nursing team.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with active state licensure.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
