Position Overview:

As a Residential Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire construction process of residential projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure projects are executed effectively and efficiently, meeting the highest standards of quality, safety, and timeliness.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Initiation:

- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and budget constraints.

- Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate feasibility and identify potential challenges.

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimations.

- Obtain necessary permits, licenses, and approvals to commence construction activities.

2. Project Execution and Management:

- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the construction process, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Supervise and collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.

- Monitor construction progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

- Resolve any issues, conflicts, or delays that may arise during the construction process.

3. Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and other stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries.

- Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members to facilitate effective collaboration and ensure client satisfaction.

- Conduct regular project meetings to communicate project status, discuss changes, and align expectations.

4. Budget and Cost Management:

- Prepare and monitor project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost control.

- Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and project objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the residential construction industry.

- Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, building codes, and regulations.

- Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and software.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
