What are the responsibilities and job description for the FULL TIME LVN - TEMPORARY position at Villa Marin Homeowners Association?
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
The LVN will provide professional nursing care such as medication administration and therapeutic treatments to the residents and subsequent back-up documentation as required. Inform Manager or Nursing/Doctor/Health Services Administrator of any events which may necessitate medical intervention. Consult family members where indicated to insure that residents' needs are met. Offer direction and assistance to unit staff as needed.
WHAT WE OFFER:
This full-time, 40-hour per week position includes free parking and more.
Rate of pay – $38 - $42 per-hour, may include shift differentials ($0.40-$1.10) and stipends for professional licenses/certificates ($0.85-$1.35).
SCHEDULE:
NOC Shift - 11:00pm - 7:30am (4 on/ 2 off). Shifts will include every other weekend and may include some holidays as needed.
WHAT TO BRING:
Broad based knowledge of nursing practices. Skill in dealing with geriatric patients and chronic care needs. Knowledge of medical care equipment and its use and operation. Current California licensure as an LVN and a minimum of one year experience in Geriatric Nursing preferred, but new grads welcomed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations. Must meet health assessment requirements as regulated by the California Department of Social Services. TB testing and fingerprint clearance required by California DSS/CCL. Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and/or possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
