SUMMARY OF POSITION:
As a Dietary Manager, you will oversee all aspects of food service operations within our healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include planning and preparing nutritious, appetizing meals, developing menus, and upholding high standards of quality and safety. You will manage food ordering, monitor inventory levels, maintain budget compliance, and ensure the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the food service department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise the preparation and service of planned menus.
- Provide oversight and management of Dietary Aides and Cooks
- Manage turnover and ensure current and future staffing through development of recruiting sources and through appropriate selection, orientation, training, and staff education.
- Documents and addresses the nutritional concerns of residents
- Must be able to order food, supplies, and equipment for food preparation and service, reviewing all deliveries of food for quality, proper amounts, and pricing.
- Effectively manage and operate within budget.
- Participate in interdisciplinary patient care meetings involving nutrition.
- Complete nutrition documentation timely and accurately
- Participate in interdisciplinary patient care meetings involving nutrition.
- Ensure that the residents’ physician ordered diets are prepared and served accurately at meals and snacks.
- Ability to adjust menus to meet the needs of the evolving patient.
- Design and implement kitchen management systems to ensure regulatory compliance and quality outcomes.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active CDM Certification or willing to obtain
- Safe Serve Certification
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience preferred
WAGE RANGE: $15.00-$18.00
