As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Villa Pueblo Senior Living standards.
Your role will involve monitoring and reporting changes in the patients condition on a daily basis, you must be able to assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation
- Complete/receive accurate shift report
- Complete timely rounds to check on the safety and security of residents
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and standards of professional nursing
- Maintain appropriate communication with physicians and families regarding changes in residents condition.
- Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment as necessary, and in accordance with established facility policies.
- Respond to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
- Explains procedures and treatments to residents to gain trust and cooperation
- Maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other departments within the facility
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an LPN
- Maintain a current unencumbered license to practice in the state of Colorado
- One (1) year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred
- High Scholl Diploma or equivalent
