Receptionist Part -Time

Villa Pueblo Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to join our Team!

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting all visitors, providing tours for potential new residents, answering phones in a timely/welcoming manner, taking/delivering messages and responding to Community supervisor directions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greets all visitors, gives tours and assists as needed.
• Maintains records of resident sign in and sign out.
• Answers the telephone in a polite and courteous manner. Forwards calls, takes messages and delivers those messages to appropriate personnel.
• Completes direct inquiry sheets on prospects.
• Monitors resident activity and alerts staff when assistance is necessary to assure residents safety.
• Monitors Community guests’ & visitors’ entrances/exits in accordance with Community policy and procedure.
• Maintains request lists for maintenance, dietary and nursing in appropriate manner.
• Maintains security of equipment within the business office.
• Maintains familiarity with fire safety and emergency procedures detailed in the fire and disaster plan.
• Performs office work as assigned.
• Assures that lobby area, reception area and entry area is kept clean, neat and orderly.
• Notifies appropriate staff of unsafe situations within the building or grounds.
• Notifies management of any resident emergency or hospital transport.
• Works with other staff to maintain continuous coverage of front desk, telephone answering, taking and delivering messages.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by any member of management.
• Preferably have some medical experience/background or senior living.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred not required
