SUMMARY DUTIES: The Leasing Consultant is responsible for showing residential space to potential tenants, marketing to Preferred employers and potential tenants, and the community businesses. The primary role involves leasing and administrative initiatives. The Leasing Consultant is consistently focused on teamwork and willing to go above and beyond to get the job done.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guide clients through the leasing process from lease application to qualification and final move-in.
- Schedule appointments, conduct property tours, work independently, and meet multiple demanding deadlines.
- Uphold company standard policies and procedures.
- Follow established safety procedures and policies.
- Assist with marketing and administrative needs.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma (or equivalent); some college preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Intermediate to expert level MS Office skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
- Successful sales experience (preferably in property management or real estate).
- Previous residential leasing experience & familiarity with Fair Housing regulations/guidelines preferred.
- Knowledge of Property Management software (i.e., Yardi) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
