Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center seeking a Shuttle Bus Driver
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently between designated locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and adherence to schedules. The Shuttle Driver will also be expected to maintain the vehicle in good working condition and ensure compliance with all traffic regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including vans and buses, to transport passengers as scheduled.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing routine inspections and necessary maintenance.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively in English with passengers and team members.
- Provide information about routes, schedules, and local attractions when requested.
- Handle any passenger concerns or issues professionally and promptly.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Shuttle Driver or in a similar role (e.g., delivery driver, bus driving, motor coach) is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for maintaining vehicle functionality.
- Experience with paratransit services is advantageous but not required.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
