Schedule: Exempt, minimum 5 days a/wk.
Required: A valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Certification

THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Regional Administrator/Owner
OBJECTIVE:

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include overall management of the community in accordance with the policies and procedures of CALSON MANAGEMENT and in compliance with all Local, State, and Federal rules, regulations and laws applicable to the operation and/or licensure of the community.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Personnel Management
2. Fiscal Management as Determined by Company
3. Resident’s Right’s and Services
4. Marketing/Occupancy Development
5. Property Maintenance and Safety
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Personnel Management:
a. Upholding and enforcing, without prejudice, bias or favoritism, policy and procedures, which establish standards of performance and other relevant guidelines for staff. Company will provide copy of current Policy and Procedures.
b. Recruiting, hiring, providing orientation, supervising, training, disciplining, and terminating the staff of the community.
c. Being responsible for ensuring staff compliance with Employee Handbook and policies and procedures.
d. Reviewing job descriptions and quality and production standards set by company.
e. Ensuring that time records of all staff are complete and accurate and submitted by each staff member on a timely basis for submittal to company.
f. Periodically reviewing (90 days and annually) and evaluating performance.
· Accurately and completely document all matters related to personnel disciplinary action and incidents.
· Determine, with company approval, increase in employee wages in direct correlation with job performance evaluation.
· Scheduling ‘in-service training’ as required by company and State and Federal law.
· Conducting monthly staff meetings.
g. Maintaining accurate and appropriate records for each employee and other administrative activities, while maintaining confidentiality of said files at all times. Exercising professional judgment and adherence to all written standards, personnel administration policies and procedures. Accurately and completely documenting all matters related to personnel disciplinary action and incidents.
h. You are responsible for processing payroll and the time clock of all employees and departments
i. You are responsible for all of accounts payables
2. Administrative/Fiscal
a. Maintaining company systems that will effectively monitor the operation of the community, including but not limited to occupancy rate, income/expense reports and supply inventories.
b. Maintaining regulatory compliance by reviewing, evaluating, and measuring regulatory compliance requirements against operations and operational charges.
3. Residents Rights and Services:
a. Maintaining accurate and appropriate records for each resident and prospective residents of the community while maintaining confidentiality of said records at all times.
b. Assisting in details and coordination of move-in with respective residents.
c. Periodically reviewing each resident’s status and ability to function within the level of care determined by Calson Management and State law. Exercising sound judgment in determining each resident’s need for placement or transferring to an environment appropriate to his/her mental and physical health.
d. Addressing all resident concerns or suggestions in a timely manner and keeping recorded, detailed minutes of each meeting.
Qualifications and Certifications:
· It will be mandatory within the first (7) days of employment, for this person to have a Health Certification signed by a physician. This certification must verify that the Administrator has no communicable diseases, open lesions, or any other health problem, which could interfere with individual’s job performance.
· The Administrator understands that Calson Management operates as a Drug Free Workplace per Policies set forth in the Company Handbook.
· The Administrator will dress appropriately according to the requirements set forth by their position.
· The Administrator is responsible for maintaining facility and all property in clean, safe and working condition.
· At least four (4) years’ previous experience in the industry and/or Administrator Certification.
Calson Management provides a full suite of services and solutions for every aspect of a Senior Living project, including but not limited to pre-development, development, owner’s representation, horizontal and vertical construction as well as long term operations
