Game Assembler Role
This role involves assembling games by adding raw materials and sub-assemblies as the game progresses through the production line. The Game Assembler will be expected to learn various operational processes and utilize hand and power tools.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Works on the production line, assembling multiple parts and passing the unit to another worker.
- Operates air nail gun, air staple gun, screw machine, and fastens parts together using bolts, screws, clips, cements (adhesives), or other fasteners per instruction manual.
- Positions parts in a specified relationship to each other and applies brackets to different parts of the game, ensuring all screws are secure.
- Drills at an angle, straight up and down, using the right size bit, and sprays painting.
- Sands and glues parts together and applies decals.
- Puts incoming parts away and maintains a neat, organized workspace.
- Examines the game for quality work from the previous workstation and provides input to update build manuals.
- Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement process and communicates game quality issues to the appropriate department.
