The Village at Proprietors Green is a well-established 149-unit Senior Living Community offering a continuum of independent, assisted and memory care apartments in Marshfield, MA with a strong reputation of caring and empathy. We are part of Welch Senior Living, a family-owned provider of senior services for over 75 years.
We offer a comprehensive new hire orientation as well as ongoing training including, but not limited to, dementia, disaster & emergency elder abuse and first-aid.
We are looking for an individual who is dependable, warm and empathetic with regard to the elderly and with a willingness to work as a collaborative team member.
The Dining Room Supervisor role is a 24 to 32 hour weekly position (Monday from 9am – 5pm and evenings from 3pm to 7pm for a total of 5 days) reporting to the Director of Dining Room Services. Hours are flexible
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervises employees and serves as Hostess while overseeing the training, hiring and administrative duties.
- The Dining Room Supervisor will demonstrate quality customer service, leadership and supervisory skills while managing the workflow and implementing structure and organization amongst the Servers.
- Along with the Director of DR Services and the Executive Chef, will implement protocols set forth for the service to excel.
- Support of Resident functions as needed.
Requirements:
2 years of experience in the food service industry is required.
