We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Property Manager/Leasing Agent to join our team and help us manage our community.
As a Junior Property Manager/Leasing Agent, you will play an essential role in the leasing process and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the property. You will work closely with the Village at The Pointe team to maintain high occupancy rates, support leasing activities, and provide excellent customer service to both prospective and current residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high occupancy levels by actively promoting and leasing available apartments.
- Conduct property tours, provide prospective residents with detailed information, and close lease agreements.
- Ensure all guest cards, applications, and follow-up communication are accurately entered into the property management software.
- Support in preparing and executing lease agreements, renewals, and other tenant-related documents.
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract prospective tenants, including maintaining listings, online ads, and coordinating promotional events.
- Ensure that apartment units are ready for new residents in line with the company's “rent-ready” standards.
- Address resident concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring an excellent resident experience.
- Assist with routine property inspections and help maintain the property’s curb appeal.
- Help ensure that all company policies and Fair Housing laws are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain knowledge of local market trends and competition to ensure the property stays competitive and attracts potential residents.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in leasing and property management experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree or some property management coursework is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact professionally with residents, prospects, and team members.
- Highly motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of property management software (CRM, Yardi, or similar) is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to work weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background screening.
