Auto Body Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with a keen attention to detail. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The technician will work with various tools and equipment, including power tools and welding equipment, to fabricate and assemble parts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repair procedures.
• Perform body repairs including welding, soldering, and fabrication of parts.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Ensure all repairs meet dealership standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Familiarity with various automotive repair techniques, including welding, assembling, and fabricating parts.
• Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
