Data Analytics Associate

Position Summary

The Data Analytics Associate will assist with the compilation, analysis and organization of information through our data warehouse and reporting systems.  They will act as a liaison to departments regarding requested custom and management reports. 

Responsibilities

Assists with the development and distribution of reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using PowerBI, Crystal Reports, Excel, COCC iDashboards, and other reporting solutions as determined by business requirements.

Meets with business units to help determine the scope or limitations of their reporting capabilities.

Works with department managers to understand their continually evolving operational and management report needs. Assists with maintaining the Bank’s report inventory.

Responsible for distributing regularly scheduled reports as defined in the report library as well as additional management reports when requested.

Maintains and updates policies and procedural documentation of the warehouse database system and the report library.

Participates in audits and assessments involving the security of customer data and can provide support regarding the Bank’s reporting and retention systems as instructed.

Qualifications

Experience

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, data analytics, information management or other related areas.

One to three years of experience with data reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.

Banking experience preferred but not required.

Specific Skills Required

Ability to learn and utilize multiple bank system applications

Experience with PowerBI or similar Business Intelligence Solutions, DAX, and Excel.

Report writing capabilities preferably using Crystal Reporting

Proficiency in database management and relational databases.

A background in query writing or SQL may be required based on specific duties of the position.

Experience manipulating and analyzing large quantities of data with a passion for data, data quality, business analysis, and business intelligence.

Strong business acumen, fast learner with a high attention to detail and the capacity to understand cross functional trends, and how those trends impact corporate KPIs.
